About Us

What makes Coco Hotel and Casino the favorite in Playa Coco? LOCATION. We are the only hotel in the middle of Playa del Coco. Everything is within a short walk such as restaurants, night clubs, entertainment, souvenir shops, boutiques and other tourist activities. Our goal is to provide you with a carefree visit so that all you have to think about is vacation. Whether your visit is for a family vacation, romance or any of the exciting things that Costa Rica has to offer Coco Hotel and Casino will make sure it happens.

We do not have a pool on site (no noise and commotion). Instead we have a dedicated pool club with the area’s most beautiful pool, gym and tennis courts. Additionally, we have a beach club with pool and rancho. Both these amenities are within a 5-minute golf cart ride. Both amenities are free for the use of our hotel guests and we provide transportation and beach towels also at no charge to our hotel guests. On-site restaurant and boutique: Our restaurant, Hot Wok, is a top rated full Asian restaurant which provides buffet breakfast (included in your room rate) plus full meals from 12:00 to 9:30PM. Guests receive a 10% discount to our already moderate prices.

Adventure/Tours: We have a full-service tour desk to help you choose and make appointments to one or more of the tours available. These include fishing excursions, canopy tours, horseback riding, water sports, golf, jet skis, and a variety of day trips as well. Tours are for the active and some for the less active.

Rooms: Our rooms have two queen size beds (up to 4 guests maximum per room), air conditioning, cable tv, free wi-fi and complementary bath lotions and shampoos. We are decorated in the old Costa Rica beach décor. Beds are extremely comfortable. The rooms all have individual safes. We have 24-hour security both inside and outside the hotel.

Boutique: Perla’s Beach Boutique. Located next to our lobby, it is a favorite of locals and tourists alike. Grab a swimming suit or an evening gown here.

Casino: Although the casino is not ours it is located next to our hotel.
